Plu Kaow is the Thai name for the Houttuynia cordata plant. Known in Japan as "dokudami," which translates to "poison-blocking," Plu Kaow has a rich history rooted in traditional Asian herbal practices. It's not as well known here in the West, but we think that should change! We only use the leaves of the Plu Kaow plant, both fresh and fermented for extra bioavailability and strength. To retain all the nutrients, we freeze-dry the leaves and capsulate the powder. We don't add any fillers, additives, or other BS. All we do is remove the water.
