From her passion for skateboarding to her creative work, she’s got something special. We’re really looking forward to sharing her journey, her inspirations, and getting to know her a little better together.
Gabriella Santana
Gabi is a 27-year-old skateboarder and artist living in Barcelona. Her journey began at 14 when she first picked up a skateboard, leading her into the world of art. By 19, she became a tattoo artist and has since explored various forms of expression, including graffiti, photography, painting, and her PIXO inspired illustrations. Growing up in São Paulo, Gabi found endless inspiration in the city’s dynamic culture, which continues to influence her work. A memorable milestone was bringing her dog from Brazil to Europe, marking a new chapter in her life. She stays motivated by focusing on good sleep, healthy eating, and love, guided by her favorite grandma’s wisdom: “Slow is fast.”
Gabi's passion is not only about self-expression but also about creating space for others. She says, “I’d like to say that I came from a reality completely opposite to the one I live in today, and many women didn’t have this chance for many reasons. But the main reason is simply because they are women. And I think that’s what makes me want to keep doing everything I do so others can see that they can do it too.”
Through her art and skateboarding, she wants to show other women that they can break through barriers and chase their dreams, no matter the challenges. A proud supporter of Modder, Gabi loves taking 100% Mangosteen and 100% Black Ginger, the supps that help keep her connected to her body, enhancing her active lifestyle. “I’m also very happy with my supplements! They make all the difference. I feel connected to my body, and I’m more active!”
Fun fact: A few weeks back, Maaike and Gabi met up, and Gabi gave Maaike the very first "MODDER" tattoo in Gabi's own graffiti-inspired style. How awesome is that?
